Yes — we do this routinely. We'll request your prior three years of returns, your current bookkeeping file, and a list of any open IRS or state matters. Most transitions take 7–14 days with no service interruption.
Absolutely. Non-filing is more common than people think and almost always solvable. We'll prepare back returns, negotiate any penalties, and set up a payment plan with the IRS if needed. The sooner we start, the more options you have.
Yes. We file federal and multi-state returns for clients across the country. Most communication is by email, video, or phone — in-person meetings happen only when you want one. Our Norcross office is by appointment.
For individuals: prior-year return, all income forms (W-2, 1099, K-1), and any deduction documentation. For businesses: prior-year return, bookkeeping file or bank statements, and a list of major purchases. We send a tailored checklist after our first conversation.
We represent you at no additional charge for any return we prepared. As your tax preparer, Franklin can speak directly with the IRS on your behalf — you do not need to attend or respond on your own.
